Waterworks Hill Wildflower Hikes
Every Thursday at 5:30 PM in April and May! (No hike on May 14th)
Meet at the Waterworks Greenough Dr Trailhead
What to expect:
- Hosted by Luke Hayduk, Wildflower Afficionado.
- Moderate/easy uphill hike, about 1.5 mi round trip.
- Open to the public. All are welcome!
- About 1 hour
- Focus on stopping to identify local wildflowers!
- Panoramic views of Missoula
Blodgett Canyon Hike

Meet at the Blodgett Canyon Trailhead
What to expect:
- Hosted by Amy Widner of Missoula Outdoors.
- Moderate hike with steady grade for 10 mi round trip with 1200 ft of elevation gain.
- Hike to two waterfalls in a dazzling granite canyon!
- About 5 hrs round trip.
- Blodgett Canyon is a must-do hike when visiting Missoula/Bitterroot Valley!
Stuart Peak Hike and Bike
Wednesday, June 3rd 8:30 am
Main Rattlesnake Trailhead
What to expect:
- Hosted by Tom Statz
- Bike part of the way up Stuart Peak and then hike the rest of the way. Expect snow the last mile or two.
- 19 miles round trip with 4700' of gain.
- Pace will be slow and will be a long arduous hike/bike
- Pack accordingly. Intermediate/Expert Hikers only.
University Mountain

What to expect:
- Hosted by Luke Hayduk
- A challenging hike up a local mountain with beautiful wildflowers and views.
- 8 mi with 2500 ft elevation gain.
- Pace will be moderate. Not trail running, but not stopping every minute.
- Chilly morning, warm afternoon. Pack accordingly!
